Foam bierd?

Someone mentioned it over the lpp mailing list, but I have no idea what it is. Could I make a cricket bat out of it? what else would I need to make a LARPing-type cricket bat? Electrical tape, pvc pipe, etc.? Thane, this question is directed almost entirely at you. If anyone else has any ideas, please let me know? I'd like to have this made before the 22nd? Speaking of which, what days would be available for a get together to watch DVDs to celebrate my birth? I doubt anybody could make it on the 22nd. Also, if Game is this Saturday, I might not be able to make it. I'm sorry. I didn't realize how close the date would be to Xmas. Thanks to Fetus for the Ben Folds Ep comp, the copy of Tom Waits interview of Fresh Air, and loaning me Fear of Pop. I'm enjoying them quite a bit.
